Audience Safety Procedures for 2020 Concerts

The Winona Municipal Band is implementing the following procedures pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Those with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.
  • Band members will perform while spaced at least 6’ apart from each other.
  • Audience members are expected to maintain proper social distancing and wear masks.
  • Half of the benches at the Bandshell will not be available.
  • Audience members who bring their own chairs will be expected to set up in locations at least 6’ away from other attendees.

If you intend to listen from within your car:

  • Those with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.
  • Each household should be in a separate car; carpooling does not comply with social distancing.
  • Attendees must remain in the vehicles they arrived in.
  • If attendees are in cars with the windows up for the entirety of the ceremony, cars may park immediately adjacent to one another.
  • If attendees are in cars with windows down, cars should park 6 feet apart.

Signs with these instructions will be posted at the Bandshell and announcements will be made prior to the performance.

One Response to Audience Safety Procedures for 2020 Concerts

  1. We want to thank you for the concert tonight. It was wonderful to hear live music, and you were creative in finding ways to play while still being safe and following Covid-19 guidelines. The small groups worked well – Flutistry was great, and the saxophone duo was incredibly “together”!

Will look forward to the next concert.
