July 1st Update from Director Levi Lundak

The Winona Municipal Band is hopeful to start the 2020 season!  Things do evolve based on the needs of the community, and our anticipated start date of July 8, 2020 has been pushed back.  With rising case numbers in the area, it is safest for our band members, the audience, media partners, and community that we delay until we see things trending in a more positive way.  To this extent, here is the updated information!

Due to the pandemic, the Municipal Band has extended its first possible start date to Wednesday, July 22. Social distancing of the band members and the audience is key so we anticipate that the full band will not be present and spectator seating will be distanced. The band will operate with fewer musicians in a number of small groups to play selections such as a Flute quartet followed by a low brass piece or Wind quintet and a Clarinet selection.
